Digital Asset Manager

We need someone who has the ability to translate a vision. Who can see the big picture and communicate well with a wide range of disciplines. Someone who can easily identify inefficiencies and errors and take corrective action to promote the continued growth of our company and continuously delivers the best consumer experience possible.

Reporting to the Senior Web Designer, the Digital Asset Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage Freelance retouching team and keep track of costs per shoot per month per year
  • Send out product images per shoot day to freelance team and review images to make sure our standards are upheld and look consistent
  • Retouch the ecommerce product images as requests come in and to any additional editorial imagery for the graphic designers
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees, working on a team dedicated to taking the company to the next level
  • Help out with other photo related tasks such as studio maintenance and updating editing standardization processes as needed

The role is based in NYC (Times Square).

Specific qualifications we are looking for include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Photography or related field
  • Knowledge of basic retouching skills and tools
  • Experienced in Adobe CS, Photoshop and other design software
  • Great communication skills and not afraid to take charge
  • Ambitious, organized, and pay impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented, agile environment
  • Experience and knowledge of Capture One and tethered shooting
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in fashion/style and/or the ecommerce industry
