Retail Store Manager (January-June 2018)

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ROLE:
We are looking for someone to manage our 6-month pop-up store. We need someone who has the ability to lead. Who can think on their feet and communicate well with a wide range of personalities. Someone who can motivate others to perform at their best and continuously deliver the best consumer experience possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Store Manager will be responsible for the following:
  • Organize the operations of the store and allocate responsibilities accordingly
  • Facilitate store staffing schedule, week to week
  • Lead store staff towards maximum performance
  • Monitor stock levels, work with merchandising team to ensure optimum selection of products
  • Work to ensure the customer experience is positive
  • Oversee in-store promotional events
  • Ensure store fulfills all legal health and safety guidelines
  • Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts

LOCATION:
The role is based in Secaucus, NJ.

Specific qualifications we are looking for include:

  • Proven experience retail management experience
  • Knowledge of retail management best practices
  • Impeccable communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Supreme organization skills
  • Effective leadership skills, you are comfortable leading a team and have the ability to motivate others
  • Knowledge of/familiarity with retail management software and/or point of sale systems
  • Bachelor’s degree not required, but preferred
