Junior Accountant (Part-time)

We need someone who can work independently. Who has the ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines. Someone who is organized, detail oriented and who desires to promote the continued growth of our company and continuously deliver the best consumer experience possible.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the part-time Junior Accountant will be responsible for the following:

  • Enter all credit card charges
  • Reconcile sales and returns with bank statements
  • Assist in the maintenance of inventory schedule in accounting system
  • Assist in quarterly sales tax filings
  • Reconcile bank accounts with accounting system
  • Maintain a monthly aged inventory detail
  • Other financial and accounting projects as requested by Controller and CFO

The role is based in NYC (Times Square).

Specific qualifications we are looking for include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or work completed in accounting (current college students ok!)
  • Advance knowledge of Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to think critically
