Photo Retoucher & Studio Assistant

We need someone who has the ability to translate a vision. Who can see the big picture and communicate well with a wide range of disciplines. Someone who can easily identify inefficiencies and errors and take corrective action to promote the continued growth of our company and continuously delivers the best consumer experience possible.

Reporting to the Senior Web Designer and Creative Producer, the Photo Retoucher & Studio Assistant, will be responsible for the following:

  • Color correcting photos as needed to ensure the images on our website reflect the color of the actual products themselves
  • Managing and organizing all photo cropping/sizing
  • Maintaining the high standards and integrity of our in-house photos
  • Ensuring the extensive product images on our websites are presentable and meet company standards
  • Collaborate cross functionally with teams across the organization and locations
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees, working on a team dedicated to taking the company to the next level
  • Pitch in with additional photo and production duties and responsibilities as needed

The role is based in NYC (Times Square).

Specific qualifications we are looking for include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Photography or related field
  • Extensive experience with Adobe CS, Photoshop and other design software
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented, agile environment
  • Experience and knowledge of Capture One and tethered shooting
  • Studio lighting experience preferably with Profoto lights
  • Meticulous organization skills with the ability to pay impeccable attention to details
  • A passion for fashion and fashion photography
